He's in for the historic record of being the 1st Mexican boxer to capture titles in 4 different weight division?

Whatever it is, Erik will always dish out an entertaining, exciting fight. (even if he's fighting young green opponent for the title :D ).

Buy the fight with your broke ass. Its a great card and you probably spend more on beer or some**** on a weekend. Get over it.

Blah blah blah hard earned money blah blah Floyd's a dick blah blah.

I spend more than $70 down the bar most Friday nights.

If you don't wanna watch it, don't buy it. Some of you are so ****ing childish.

I basically said the exact same thing at the exact same time.

  8. And I'll be content in knowing Floyd took his family and 50 cent to Circus Circus Adventure Dome with my $70.

Floyd is probably the best fighter we'll see in our lifetimes.

You may not be happy with that, but it is what it is.

Ortiz winning would be GREAT for the sport. The sport should not be dominated by 30 & 40 year olds. When it's a 20 year old game, it's usually more exciting. Floyd is working harder than ever and he relies on his intellect and skill more than he does on his physical attributes. That's bad news for anyone he faces - especially someone who's still a bit wet behind the ears.

As much as I hope to see Ortiz pull the upset, bet the farm on Floyd.

heavy lifting aside, Floyd is the main attraction here. As the poster above me said ... one of the best boxers alive right now.

If Golden Boy gave the Hopkins/RJJ or Maidana-Morales PPV's as much attention as Floyd got, would their fights still sell as well on PPV?

that's how I look at it. Plus I'm going to the theaters, so I won't even be spending the $70 retail price.

And why should Floyd be so slagged so much for this fight as Pacquiao fought an over matched 40 year old Mosley in his last bout

Mosley/Pacquiao got over a Million buys on PPV .. why wasn't that fight heavily protested?

the difference here is that pac fought mosley when floyd is retired/on vacation. floyd can actually make the pac fight but instead chose ortiz. also the pac-mosley fight was heavily protested by the hardcores iirc.

Think about this a second *******.. Why the **** is your guy not actively trying to fight Mayweather. Does not mention his name. It takes two dip****. And its obvious you are a deluded moron to believe Top Rank is actively looking to split revenue with GBP. As a matter of fact Mosley/Marquez had to LEAVE their promoters just to get a fight with Pac. Floyd is better than Pac. Has more money. Makes more money. I know **** gets distorted over in pacland where he is god but in the real world he is just the second best fighter in the sport.

Liar! You can't afford to waste $70 on some pot-shot festival so shut the **** up! You're only going to your friends house drink their beer and watch the fight for free. :deal:deal:hi:
