IBF only because its best looking of the belts in my mind. Thats only thing that maters if you are the bogus champion. In real live I would probably go for the championship I would think I have best change to win no mater the organization.
It was the first thing that came to mind, and after thinking about it, I still couldn't come up with a better answer.
Yeah!! Maybe if I was to take the Boxing world by storm, ala Tyson, the WBC would make me a "special" black WBC belt.:hey
I'd probably go with the WBC belt because of the history behind it but if I were a fighter now I might want to give strong consideration to the WBO belt because like it or not, that sanctioning body will take care of you. I have outlined a few reasons: 1.) You don't have to be particularly good to get a title fight. 2.) If you win you can hang on the belt for quite a while without having mandatories forced upon you (think Calzaghe and Erdei). 3.) You'll probably get close decisions your way. The WBO wants to legitimize their champions to level the playing field with the other sanctioning bodies. Can't start a name brand if your belt keeps switching hands. 4.) If you're champ you can get invited to conventions in Puerto Rico and given the royal treatment. Not bad.
