    But he started at cruiserweight. Did Dempsey ever fought at cruiserweight? I believe there was no cruiserweight division yet during his era.:patsch

    yeah they fought at heavy but you said no way any cruiserweight in history beats tyson and evander holyfield started his career at cruiser and not once did he beat tyson but twice!

    first and foremost, Let me clarify this. i didn't say that. what i did was agree to a post by one poster which said that no cruiser can beat tyson.

    i agreed with the poster because if dempsey fights tyson he would be a cruiserweight by today's standards. and no way will a cruiserweight win against a heavyweight.

    regarding holyfield , he was not a cruiserweight in the tyson fight. HE WAS A HEAVYWEIGHT BEATING ANOTHER HEAVYWEIGHT.
