its not bhop hurts you with one punch, but if you are lucky or unluck enough to get to the later rds with him, those punches add up.the headbuts, the punches on the hip that makes you legs tired, the straight right hand.after a while you will start to fade.
Joppy was hurt? Here is a picture of William.... This content is protected Now here is how he looked after the Hopkins fight... This content is protected Tell me again that he wasnt hurt? Or that X doesnt hit that hard.... As for the Wright fight. Watch the 12th round....Hopkins wobbled him on a couple occasions, even buckled his knees at one point with a lead right. And Eastman was buzzed a few times throughout the fight. Nothing major, but....hurt nonetheless.
B-Hop has snap and power behind some of his punches. The thing is that he fights with a style so sporadic, sometimes comes in with sneaky right or left that fighters don't see- those are the ones that can stun or wobble you because you dont expect it.
Thank U for starting this discussion. Dont forget Hops even outpunched Echols who was like a late 90 version of Mugabi. That sneaky right hand of Hopkins is still one of the most dangerous punches in boxing, especially when he senses that your tired.
Yeah, hes a ******* with that sneaky right... he knows when to pour it on when the fighter is tired. he is very scientific about his way of fighting.
Counter punching masters can do just as much damage as heavy KO artist. Thats basically all there is to this.
Theres a difference between concussive power and damaging power...Trinidad was a concussive hitter at 147lbs..Miguel Cotto is a damaging puncher - he rearranges faces.
