If you're Eddie Hearn - do you want the Ward fight?

I think it was your use of the word cowardly that confused matters.

 

Dawson fight was back in September and still no fight lined up for him. No one really cares either.
Pavlik couldn't even be bothered to go ahead and fight the boring *******:shock:

 

By no means did I intend or even try to imply Froch or Groves are cowardly.

What I meant was if Sky try to sell us Groves-Froch next as PPV without Groves proving himself, then that is cowardly and bad form.

I know I chat **** at times but I've trained boxing and would never call a fighter cowardly. Although I dislike quite a few and will air views going overboard at times, but cowardly is not one any boxer is.

Its now a big domestic fight, you have to weigh up the options as a promoter, he could put Groves in with someone like Stieglitz and he might lose then suddenly the Froch fight is gone.

Has Groves earned it? No, but its an intriguing fight and I would like to see it. I'd wager Booth doesn't want it though.

 

I don't see how Froch doesn't need Ward? Ward beat Froch convincingly... Froch's "only" defeat now.... obviously he wants want to avenge it, otherwise he's good to retire...

 

Froch is the one making excuses and calling out Ward who had beat him easily. The Dawson fight was a tremendous performance and he stopped Dawson the best Light heavyweight champion in the world. The Pavlik fight was postponed because Ward got injured then Pavlik decided to retire. Where is Ward boring because he does not fight with his face. He kicked the living daylights out of Froch by beat him to the punch on the inside. Froch was playing goal keeper.

as soon as he fights ward he gets beat whether that is in the uk or use as styleisticly he is all wrong for froch and everybody must be able to see this.

groves,degale are fights that will gather big publicity and sell out arenas and while they could test froch and push him they are winnable fights.the fact remains to the wider british public these names are more widely know among casual fans than andre ward which while ridiculous given wards standing in the sport is probably still true.

no guarantee he comes through them but he should.then he should look at ward.no way he steps up to light heavy as gets found out.hopkins would be a snorefest that carl just does not need at the moment and if he fought nathan cleverly i genuinely believe nathans work rate would find him out.
