The Clottey fight was signed fast because they needed a legit opponent in a short amount of time that wouldn't involve long negotiations. Everyone was tired after the Mayweather fiasco, a fight that should have gotten made. I feel bad for Pac that he has such crappy representation in Arum a guy thats only interested in money. A lot of people take advantage of him and he gets blamed for it. I remember all the things that came out of his camp that people took for words coming out of his mouth. Hell he was over in the PI when this stuff was going on.

A lot of people on this site are disillusioned when it comes to pacs skill level. I always thought he was a good fighter till I saw him fight Cotto, thats the fight that made me think damn this guy is an ATG. I mean Cotto was a guy that faced elite competition in Mosley/Clottey/Margarito/Judah.

That being said there is a lot of pac fans that don't give other fighters there due credit like Mayweather/Dirrell.

You have to be oblivious to reality if you even think Pac is gay.

Manny is a great guy and a lot of us became fans of him in his Morales, Marquez, and Barrera fights. He was more impressive moving up. The question now is would he ever give up to the random drug testing. His camp has made him look bad with all the conflicting stories and he has lost respect they key word "respect" not fans. He has to gain his respect by simply agreeing to these test such as other athletes with bigger names than himself have agreed such as Tyson, Holyfield, Mosley and a few others.

I admit to not knowing much about the division and the devisions he has gone through but to not go into one of the biggest fights of all time because he didnt want to do a drug test just sounds to guilty and until he does prove his innocence im not a fan.

Again, if "Mayweather IS America", then remember that in America, the accused is innocent until proven guilty, & the burden of proof belongs to the accuser.

All we've got is barely-coherent conjecturing from a high school dropout & ex-felon.

    A: he almost killed hatton
B: i think he is hiding something
C: since his time above 135 he has fought come forward guys which suits him. his victories have been good but the media and *******s and even casual fans have been fooled into believeing he is unbeatable which is pissing me off

Im not a mayweather fan either. In fact my favourite boxer got caught. But in England, my country if you fail to give a sample you are guilty. I dont know what it is like in america but if you get stopped at the side of the road and say no to a breathalyiser they will arrest you. No evidence needed.

If ever Pac agrees to the random blood tests and passes them, then beats Floyd and others along the way.... and hear *******s celebrate... would you really be a fan? Or would it be like "Pac knew the tests were coming so he cycled them out, jus because he tested clean doesn't mean he never took PEDs at one point.

History shows this is how ESB thinking goes. Yesterday it was weight draining and catchweights (never mind if Floyd has a catchweight fight as well), today the PEDs accusation with zero proof. Tomorrow? Filipino witchcraft?

In the US, if you refuse a sobriety test (via breathalizer or motor skills test), yes, you will be arrested. *EVIDENCE* IS needed. After arrest, you'll be taken to a police station for a blood draw to determine blood alcohol level (this varies from state to state, but from what I've heard from people who have encountered these situations, this is generally the procedure).

The point is, *EVIDENCE* IS STILL REQUIRED.

A police officer's suspicion is not enough to convict. Why? Because everyone is afforded minimal rights, such as being innocent until proven guilty. I'm not trying to hear the strawman argument of "refusal = guilt". **** that. Not to mention, the guy hasn't refused any random urine testing.

You put a good argument. Im not sayin he has but why would he turn them down? Surely some reassurance is better than none. Then he might kick PBF's ass all over town?
