He's a great ambassador for our sport. I hope once he gets his law degree, he does more stuff to help boxing
You're one of the most disrespectful posters I've ever seen here. Of course, we all know you wouldn't say **** in person but I'm sure you're still tough.
I like Diaz. He put up a war against Marquez. Was wondering what he was up to and saw him on showbox this weekend. Wish him luck.
i like every boxer more then margarito, Usman Ahmed ranks higher in my book. Margs just looks like a cheat to me.
My first impression of Baby Bull(on the Lazcano vs Alvarez card)...."This fat kid is fun to watch but he ain't going anywhere".atsch
Yeah, by that point I loved him. :thumbsup Not gonna lie, a big part of my original beef with him was how he retired Popo. :yep I was mad alright. Plus, HBO was crazy with the hype. He may have only gone 3-4 in his career after that, but it was all TOUGH fights against world class opposition and he acquitted himself extremely well over that time period...enough to make a fan out of me.
I'll start by saying that I am extremely biased. Now, Juan was a young guy, very young, who smashed people coming up and won the title. He earned his spot all the way. He was not a hype job at all. The recognition he got, was deserved. This has nothing to do with the fact that I went to same gym, or trained by the same coaches. H-TOWN...
same with me I really hope this doesn't happen with broner and berto.diaz is meant to be replacing tarver on showtime
I loved watchin Diaz when he was goin strong. But he crashed bad at the end. Nate and JMM 1 took a lot out of him. Then he lost twice to Paulie. Dude had a lot goin on his personal life. Gettin outta boxing before he took any more damage to finish up his law stuff was a smart move. If he came back, I don't think he'd be the same. Miss watchin him tho. I got all his title fights. His nonstop style was sick.
