    Body punches are killer.

You want to punch back, but often times you just can't.

Ive never been knocked down or out but Ive been stunned and stayed on my feet (in the ring and out) and its kinda like a buzzing flash where you dont know where you are momentarily until you come back to (usually with me its like 5-10 seconds)

Usually you just go into instincts and do what comes natural, Arms up head moving side to side hazily. thats the best way i can describe it

I felt this feeling before, but didn't fall. Felt surreal and lasted for two seconds and then I came back to normal. I was embarrassed because I wasn't sure exactly what my legs did.

Two things come to mind when I was dropped: Felt like I was falling in slow motion 'n the ref was counting under water.

Well its happened two times, once in the boxing ring where I got stunned for a bit then landed a lucky straight right and pushed him back against the ropes and went for it until the bell went and second time on the street where i nearly had a tooth knocked out and went for the guy til it got broken up but its a bit of both, once the buzzing goes im good to go again, kinda gives you more incentive to beat the guy.

You sound like a born fighter, JD. A good shot gives most guys religion.

Something like that, Im training now in the amateurs and still waiting for my first fight because I took a year or two out so see how it goes. Ive been fighting MMA fighters more than anything recently but see how it goes. If i get a shot to turn pro then im taking it.

Was about to ask you if you had your share of lumps, John. :good My ex's grand dad also boxed in the army, had acouple pictures and trophies. Think he also did a newspaper fight which were common back then. Was supposed to be related to Jackie Gleason I think.
