Never got koed, got nailed hard on my right eye and you really do see stars. Not cartoon like stars but bunch of shiny white light. My trainer stop the guy from kicking my ass cause i couldn't see for 30 secs.

Only time i quit in a boxing fight is where i got hit on my eyes, nose bleeding, and mouth busted up, and got hit hard on my chest which is not a bad place to get hit but all the accumlation damages i just said **** it. the guy outweighed me by 27lbs and he was just charging non stop. I couldn't even hold my ground to throw much back bc he was abusing his size and not sparring. he was an *******.

These amateurs may not be world class, but they have some experience 'n an idea of what they wanna do. Seen LOTS worse. You must be a quick study; and, sure as hell, don't lack confidence.

I haven't been down in sparring(except a couple slips due to trippy feet and fatigue) nor have I been seriously hurt. Though yesterday doing 100 % sparring I was clinching with my partner as he backed me up in the ropes. At that point, he threw this powerful uppercut that caught me right in the solar plexus. It hurt! I didn't go down, but it made me very mad and I moved out of his way and he went at it in the center of the ring. 100 % sparring means being sore the next day.

I was stunned in sparring I was about 18 ..It was a delayed reaction ...I made the cardnal rule of looking down trying to duck a punch so my sparring partner caught me with a hard right hand to the top of the head ..I backed up quickly and took two steps forward ..I suddenly felt hot and light headed and was getting dizzier the more I moved ..Coach told me to take a breather ..Not a good feeling but got over it and stopped looking down since ..:good

Haha yeah. My grandma and mother mostly. They saw my "microtears"(they're little red bumps due to contact from a boxing glove) and a little swelling on my eyebrow yesterday and didn't appreciate it. I just told them that stuff doesn't bother me. My Dad just pointed it out to me but he doesn't mind so much.

First loss as an amateur, got rocked a few times, my whole body was tingling and I went limp, I was knocked out on my feet. Thankfully the ref stopped it right then and there. Had a brutal headache for the rest of the day and my jaw still dislocates a bit pretty easily, sometimes I'll wake up and my jaw is popped out a bit....I need healthcare.
