His movement was masterful last night. His foot work is honestly 2nd to none in this sport. He also sets his punches up very well, but just cannot generate power in his shots. If he could, santos would've been wiped out in 4. With more natural power in his punches I would favor him to beat Pwill by close decision in all honesty. Foreman has some serious skills.
Foreman looked in good nik,he kept the tempo up all night and showed good movement but ...Santos, he just didnt turn up. Hard to say judged on a performance against a shot boxer but i guess he deserves credit
OH c'mon. Average? Chavez jr was average, but yuri moved like a video game last night. I do agree that santos was ill prepared and looked puffy, but foreman whooped his ass and had him hurt several times. He's drastically inproved since his close win over anthony thompson. I don't think foreman will acheive much more than title holder in his career because of the subject in the thread title. I.E. See if he had power. Because of lack of punching power. He cannot reach the highest plateau. You obviously missed the point of the thread.
It's an irrelevant argument, because by that logic you can say that well if only Tony Rowland had power he could of beat Chavez Jr. If Khan had only a chin, if Cory Spinks had any power, and etc.
The way he throws his punchs is very ugly and inevective. He needs to hit the books and learn the basics if he wants to become somebody.
