Will all of his sycophnat fans agree that his career was based merely on promise more than results? Lets be honest here people. Less Spinks, each time Zab has stepped up in competition he has been beat. I.E., Kostya, Floyd and Cotto. (Won't mention Carlos Baldomir..LOL) Zab was supposed to be Pernell with power and that comparison irked me. What did he do in his early career to ever be mentioned in the same breath with Pea? Beating Begman, Millet, and Witter? Laughable and deplorable!!! Sahme on you HBO, Showtime and ESPN!

Zab carried himself like a wannabe thug from the onset. First, being from Brooklyn and weighing at best 160, Zab was never any real type thug. Second, he disrespected Kostya saying his D was like "Swiss Cheese" and he would slice him up. We all know the chicken dance he did once he got hit. Did he ever come close to achieving what Kostya did?

Zab was a kid with good skills and zero respect for the sport and more importantly little character. He was exposed by Kostya and since then has gone 9-3 and one NC. Not much to be getting the props he has by fans and frankly media.

I think he has the skills to beat Clottey but that's not saying much. Zab at 140 or 147 is nothing more than a decent fight for any top contender. Time for ZAb and his sycophant fans to come to the veracity this kid was a joke based on promise and little results.

    Thoughts?

You're right on the money. Judah is another one of these touted amateur fighters who never really panned out in the pros. Part of the problem was his punk attitude, the rest his crappy chin. Mark Breland had a better pro career and he was pretty much considered a bust back in the 80s.

People will always have high regard for his ability because of the first 4 or so rounds of the Mayweather fight. Judah had real, serious, legitimate talent.

I don't particularly like him as a fighter or an individual, but I have respect for his ability regardless of his overall mental weakness and/or lack of focus.

Margarito can choose from anyone of three rematches, 2 of which would be for a unified and undisputed welterweight championship. They would be as follows:

vs. Paul Williams (unification of WBA and WBO with undisputed #1 on the line)
vs. Joshua Clottey (unification of WBA and IBF)
vs. Miguel Cotto (former WBA welterweight champ)

Or: vs. Andre Berto (unification of WBA and WBC)

Was Breland really considered a bust ? He had a pretty good career MUCH better then Judah who IMO has accomplished nothing besides that one Spinks victory.

I faith in Zab, he has more talent then anyone in boxing right now. Hopefully he can focus for once and get to the level he should be at.

I don't believe so, he still has the skill. We saw that clearly against Cotto, we also saw that he had the same habit of breaking down though.

He's the absolute perfect example of why you need more than raw talent to be successful. I mean you put him and PBF side by side and look at their measurables and they are pretty much equal. But clearly something separates them.

I would be pretty shocked if Judah wins. If history is any indication, he goes into a shell as soon as things don't go his way. He could've easily beaten Baldomir if he had the right mental fortitude and let his hands go and same situation as Cotto.

I can't wait for this one though. :good
