radio r Radio Rahim always asks good questions, not a single other interviewer would have said what he said to Tyson in the dressing room, and the reaction from fury is probably why, as soon as the interviewer asks an honest question the boxer gets all defensive. there were loud boos when fury finished his fight, there was no atmosphere during the fights, the crowd were more entertained by the stewards tossing the waterproof coat things into the crowd, i dont know how fury can say the crowd loved it and it was a boxing masterclass, deluded fool. Fight Hype cutting down an interview into 8 separate clips is a no no from me. Boxing social on fire but cringe at nearly every comment on their videos talking about ifl. Even worse are the guys commenting on Secondsout press conference videos saying they have moved on from ifl because of the audio. No u haven't mate, don't lie, u will be watching an hour long Hearn interview with the rest of us.
His interviews with Eddie are great. However, i seen Eddie has been trying to charm him recently. Hopefully he doesn't fall for the bait
Rahim is a very good interviewer. I remember when people were accusing Kovalev of racism after his Stevenson joke on Twitter, Rahim addressed it when he was interviewing Sergey and drew a good explanation from him. Could you imagine James Helder asking such questions of Kovalev? I can’t either.
james helder is the worst, only asks the safest possible question where there wont be a single bit of controversy from the answer, you know the standard one 'what did you make of your performance tonight?' or 'are you pleased with your victory tonight?' Kugan is a bit better but not much, he'll ask hearn decent questions but no one else, everyone is too scared to ask aj any awkward questions as they may not get another interview if they do, that's the problem.
"Casuals" love the sound bite, matey, matey "lad banter" type interviews IFL do(not a dig) it plays perfectly into their audience. The person being interviewed feels comfortable as they know they won't be asked anything too taxing.
Boxing Social is ran by Glen Mccory, whereas IFL is run by a Public Schoolboy Sri Lankan, and failed Garage MC who both have never had a fight in their life. Real Boxing people know how to interview boxers. IFL Basically copied Jane Couch, Jane said James Helder wasn't even a fan of boxing when they started IFL.
IFL are slacking and going down hill fast !! The content is rubbish at the moment!! Think Kugan loving the celebrity lifestyle a bit to much and neglecting his bread and butter!
I do agree to a certain extent... They only give good content when Kugans attention is on it and he will often spend most of the time showing the world how buddy buddy he is with everyone. But he does get the level of access others dont - its the off the camera stuff that he gets on camera which i enjoy the most. Rob's interviews are far more informative for the most part
