Frampton vs Santa cruz is a HUGE fight!

I'm surpised the build up has been really lacklustre.

You'd think they'd be covering a fight as big as this?

    come on Kugan!?

I think I heard before that frampton won't deal with IFL

    Why?

He has done many interviews with them and so has Shane?

They're reliant on the promoter helping them out on flights/accommodation, I'd imagine it was a non starter in this case.

Apparently frampton said he was the a side of IFL and kugan said he was so they couldn't reach a deal

there 5-10 minute interviews with the big names are always pretty good, i'm not that fussed about watching hour long chats with hearn or fish eyes but i agree of late it seems they have taken a back foot and let people stateside take over.

    I dunno
I just remember hearing on these forums a while back that he won't do them any more. I'd give a guess that its because he's eddies bum chum.

I suspect with some of the fighters is just a time thing- once you've fulfilled tv and other media commitments it may be difficult to justify internet interviews as well in fight week.

Sadly Sky will hype a weak titlist fight more than BoxNation can hype a genuine unification fight. This is where you need industry insiders to do their job and let the public know.

The casual boxing public in Britain are interested in what is sold to them by Sky, unfortuntaley we are now in a situation were casual fans are shown the fights the promotors are interesting them seeing (the ones they make money off) and not the genuine great fights such as this....

Smoke and mirror from matchroom/sky syndicate as usual

This is possible the best fight involving a British/irish fighter in the last decade and there has been zero build up to it whatso ever soley due to Matchroom monoply

Can't blame them for limited coverage of a fight in the US.
I don't think casuals are too interested in getting up at 4am on a Sunday no matter how it's sold.

It's not a YouTube channel job to build up a fight
