Anyone tuned in? Currently rapping Goldie looking chain. Not sure what time Jack Catterall is on. Rest of the card is fairly dull
You were spot on there, that's a chin and a half the German had on him. Caterall was landing some heavy heavy shots and landing them flush from the early rounds. Expected them to take their toll eventually, but he was up against a man made of iron.
Aye tough as old boots.catterall said he's been mando for 18 months now so he should get a title shot soon(hopefully)
That had shades of Groves vs Gutknecht about it. The amount of clean hard shots that lad took and just kept going. He’s a tough kid but I was getting worried for him, not good taking a 10 round beating. He had pockets of success but was outclassed. Catterall boxed very well, should have used the jab and footwork a little more tho imo.
That Singh sounds like a right joker his wikipedia page makes for interesting reading, not sure if it's been compromised or not but he certainly has the physique of somebody who enjoys his downtime! Looked a bit slow and one dimensional against Adamu who was very much in survival mode and credit to him made the distance at 42. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijender_Singh Drug controversy On 6 March 2012, during a raid conducted on an residence near Chandigarh, Punjab Police seized 26 kilograms of heroin and other drugs, valued at ₹1.3 billion (US$19 million). They also recovered a car registered in the name of Vijender's wife from outside the home of alleged drug dealer Anoop Singh Kahlon. Later in March, a Punjab Police statement said, "As per investigation conducted so far, Vijender Singh consumed the drug about 12 times and Ram Singh (his sparring partner) about five times." Singh denied the allegations and refused to give his hair and blood samples for testing. NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency) refused to test Vijender claiming protocol did not allow it to test an athlete for that drug when he was out of competition. However, on 3 April the Sports Ministry of India directed NADA to conduct a test on the boxer since these reports were "disturbing and may have a debilitating influence on other sportspersons in the country". By mid-May 2013, the Olympic bronze-medalist was given an “all-clean” certificate by the National Anti-Doping Agency.
Thomas Patrick was fight of the night for me. Started very fast and looked really good. Just a shame he lacks that bit of power.
