He's a decent technical boxer. But he has no power. He can't go too far. He won't be able to shutout everyone like he did today and it will create a lot of room for robberies as soon as he steps a few levels up. I haven't watched that fight but that might have been the case with his only loss (Aleksy Kuziemski). That dude's resume doesn't suggest he can outpoint Mikhalkin.
This is the career 4h best result for Mikhalkin, and 3rd best opponent defeated h2h. The majority decision and split decision in the rematch over Doudou Ngumbu rate as his best...and I'd put a stoppage of Hamza Wandera over cruising to as UD over Kasperski, as Hamza is better than his record (always game and feisty, and tricky defensively) but there is and big asterisk next to his TKO of Wandera. The guy was in trouble and may have ended up knocked out anyways but really Mikhalkin ought to have been disqualified. From the RBR thread:
I guess you're talking about the punch at :30 [yt]nY9A_bpDXws[/yt] It could get him DQ'd indeed if Wandera pulled off a Dirrell (vs Abraham)
No idea. I've seen very short clips on Twitter which appeared like a competitive fight but it might be totally deceiving. Check @BingoalBe
