Check out his hi-lite vids on Yotube. Igor was a beast. He actually beat Kerr's ass twice while Kerr was in his unstoppable prime. One fight was changed to a DQ loss because he kneed Kerr while he was down - but the rules were changed to allow kneeing a down opponent immediately following this fight.

 

Igor was ****ing awesome. An all action stand up fighter. Fought heavyweights for years when he was really a light heavy and by the time he fought at light heavy he was fading already. You should check out some of his NHB fights as well as his Pride fights, they are brutal. Here's a highlight vid.

in his prime he was a monster, and he is a good friend of fedor.
and probably one of the best strikers ever and with sick power, he put people to sleep for real

Yea he was pretty good. He had knockout power, i wish he would have fought in the ufc. I would have love to see him fight chuck liddell when he was in his prime.

 

nice highlight. The first fight i saw him at was against inoue.. not sure if that's how it was spelled but the guy couldn't get up after round one after taking all those punches.

I like the goodridge fight too and the one when he knock out that brazilian dude with one punch.

 

igor was pretty much intimidating back in the days... and he's a stone cold fighter just like fedor..

 

He would have smashed Liddell way past unconsciousness. Igor spent a large part of his "career" fighting unlicensed and underground Vale Tudo style bouts. He fought primarily because he had an insane temper. If you want to see Igor (who's name was very apt) at his gruesome best watch his fight with Enson Inoue. Inoue was in hospital for 3 months after that bout with swelling on the brain. Iv never seen a worse beating than that.

I personally liked when he kicked the **** out of Kerr the first time, although technically it's a NC. (well the finish was good, not so much the fight)

 

yep the inoue fight was the first time i'd seen him fight. I have couple of pride fc dvd collection and i have that fight.

 

BEAST!!! Igor was one of my favs back in the day. He was like Tyson...TNT in those hands. You would NOT have it in you to take one of his shots.:bbb
