Round 1: Braithwaite 10-9

Ahmed is taking the centre of the ring but Braithwaite dominates the round landing a variety of shots to the body and head.

 

Round 1: Braithwaite 10-9
Round 2: Ahmed 10-9

Both fighters are exchanging and landing good shots. Ahmed landed a great left hook to the head which Braithwaite took well. Hard rounds to score so far.

Both fighters are switching stances trying to take control. Since Braithwaite has taken this on short notice I feel like he’ll tire quicker than Ahmed will if the fight goes long. Braithwaite landed a great shot which stunned Ahmed - the best shot of the contest so far. Ahmed then ended the round really well landing to the body. That makes the round even for me.

Clearest round of the night so far. Ahmed’s bodywork could pay off for him later on in the fight. Braithwaite landed a good shot at the end of the round but wasn’t enough for me to win the round.
