Ik Yang (Yang Lian Hui) is a 29 year old 5'7.5 Light Welterweight with a 19-0 14 KO's record. Born in Da Lian, China and currently fighting out of Anyang, South Korea. "I want more Chinese to pay attention to boxing and like boxing because of me"-Ik Yang, that's a quote from one of the bright spots of Chinese Boxing he along with Rex Tso, should be at the forefront of Chinese Boxing due to the fact they can actually KO opponents occasionally, unlike fellow countryman Zou Shiming. They are the on the vanguard of the Chinese Revolution in Boxing, or Boxer Rebellion which if it becomes a force in the sport, they probably dominate it in a few years, especially the lower divisions, because the Chinese don't F around when they set out to conquer something, they conquer it. YOO more love for this thread. China TV keeps playing this guy's matches. I see him on my screen all the freakin' time. He's the future (of Chinese boxing). Also, in the first vid against Kietyongyuth, the commentator says, "yeah, Yang's eyes ain't very big but in a fight he keeps widening them to see his opponent more clearly (lul)." Just thought that was funny.
No one's excited for the possible FOTY contender against Leonardo Zappavigna? Zappa had one of the best fights of 2014 against Shuhei Tsuchiya. His matches are usually blood baths regardless of the opponent because of his terrible, Linares level skin. Zappa also knocked out red hot Ji-Hoon Kim five years ago in one round... and is now facing another defensively porous, hard hitting Korean. This should be good!
