I’ve seen some Ike training footage of a 58 yr old Tyson fight a 51 yr old Ike right now …. Ike would get slaughtered

    Offcourse.
Mike is training in the US woth Rafael Cordeiro at a state of the art facility using the best people he can get, nutrinitonist most likely, strength and conditioning coach and is probably on the best gear around.
Ike is training by himself in some small depleted fitness gym in god know where Palookaville in Nigeria.

    What money grab?
He s fighting for a first time promoter in an obscure nigerian venue in front of 10 people for most likely peanuts.
He might get a cash grab later on if he wins but this isnt one.

If you don't think it's about money, I hope Santa Claus brings you that new bike you have been writing him letters about.

    It s deffo about money.
I’m just saying he ‘s a long ways away from touching a serious dollar bill.

So you agree with me then. Nobody is suggesting he is going to make a fortune. Only that it is about the money.

Its prizefighting but i truly believe ike has the desire to try and get a belt that was missing in his career cut short. I do think he is serious about that and its not only money reasons. He is that kind of a madmen, anyone in his shoes wouldnt have even bothered to come back IMO

Doesn't he have diagnosed mental illness and brain damage? How is he licensed to fight?

What else would you advise him to do?

Imagine being put in jail just when he was on the cusp of challenging for the world title, decades of pent up frustration.

Even if it was to just put his mind at ease, he should at least give it a go don’t you think?

I wouldn’t advise him to do anything. It’s his life to live so if he wants to fight then that’s his call.

I still don’t like seeing 50 year olds in the ring. It’s a dangerous enough sport for a young person.
