July 1999, up-and-coming heavyweight Ike "The President" Ibeabuchi, sporting an unblemished record of 20-0 (15ko's) was arrested at the Mirage Hotel and Casino for attempted ***ual assault on a call girl...!!!

If Ibeabuchi had not been arrested, how would his career have panned out...???

Last I heard, he was imprisoned in Arizona awaiting deportation; but due to the Ebola virus outbreak, ICE has not deported him yet...!!!

He would have most likely gone the same route as Sam Peter, ending when he stepped foot in the ring with Wladimir.:deal

What did you guys get him? I know the first anniversary is paper, and the fifth is wood, but what do you get for the sixteenth? And do we celebrate from the date of conviction or the time of the felony? Oh, I'm so bad at these things. :conf

Would have been a titlist. Would have lost to Lewis or Vitali, 50/50 with Wladdy.

Man, after watching the highlights from this fight for the first time in ages it's hard not to see how he's not necessarily right in the head anymore:

Most people would have been KOd 5 times easily over from the shots Tua landed. No glass, hugging or running in this fight.

I don't think the fight has anything to do with it. He is a schizophrenic. It happens. I have never heard of anyone developing schizophrenia by being hit in the head.

    Huh?

I expected the censor function of this board software would make it a "seᵡual ***ault"

If I remember the story correctly it was after that fight Ike started acting strangely. He started complaining about headaches all the time and demanded people refer to him as Mr. President. He attacked a sparring partner after being cut accusing him of having on rings. We all know the rest of the story. Dont know if he was schitzophrenic, but he certainly had a screw or to loose.

lol he was not to compare with S. Peter. Ibeabuchi was the much better Boxer with way more skills, Punchingpower and Granitchin.

I think he is the type of a nightmare for Waldi.

Maybe. But the fact remains he never proved he could beat a skilled, tall fighter. Not saying it couldnt have happened, but Ikes all time skills are severely overrated from his fights with Tua and Byrd. He had potentiel, but no one can say for sure if he could or could not overcome a Lewis, Wlad or Vits.
