ike beat tua and byrd, a swarmer and a small slickster,we never saw him against a good big man.rumours was that he had problems with boxers in the gym (kirk johnson)...also let's not forget ike didn't look spectacular leading to the tua fight,he really didn't have a stellar ko record.

bowe had more talent than ike, and eddie futch really polished him,he was a monster in that first holyfield fight.
bowe-holyfield 1 is the best hw fight for me ever, two atg in their prime!amazing skills and determination,it really is a level above ibeabuchi-tua.
ike is similiar to holy in stature, but holy was way more proven and skilled than ike,and bowe smashed him!
also ike power is a bit of a myth,he throw everything at tua and couldn't back him off!
i don't think ike could handle well bowe's pumping jab and a big right hand...plus that great combos on the inside.

How as an Ike a roid freak? He is naturally a much larger man than Evander Holyfield. I think his dad was a bodybuilder or something.

He didn't start boxing until he was 17 or 18, and he was apparently already a big heavyweight.

i meant they were about the same as far as height and reach.
he was much bigger than holy, but he was obviously on juice,i mean the guy was obviously naturally strong and big,but 235-240 lbs with all that muscles and low bodyfat...sure doesn't look natural to me.

Bowe was a lot better than Golota too.
