Look at this idiot going on about nothing..... I could just as easily twist it the other way around and claim that your discrediting of Byrd is simply due to your own agenda. Dinoclown strikes again.

Agendas aside(I really don't have one here I don't know about you) I just thought the stoppage was a little early. For all I know Ike would have stopped him in the very next round, OR...... Byrd could have survived and gone the distance. Fact of the matter is Byrd had did his best to survive Ikes barrage and towards the end of the round he had recovered enough to know where he was, and see the punches that were coming at him... He was making Ike miss and there was less than 5 seconds left in the rd when the fight was stopped. So definitely a very good case for it being stopped early.

I am surprised that Merchant was never called out for his weak denigration of participants by any of the former pugilists calling a fight with him.

What tune up? He fought Wlad six months after his fight vs Vitali you utter moron. And unlike Ibeabuchi, Wlad didn't need a premature stoppage to outclass Byrd who's in his absolute peak and again unlike Ibeabuchi, Wlad dominated every minute of their fight.

So it was on of those ***ual assaults were he didn't touch her?

Regardless of how strong he was pepper spray is strong to overcome.

Let's not fo get about the 15 year old he abducted and permanently injured in his ensuing car chase.

Byrd ate a flush right hand while up against the ropes, while complaining to the referee. I don't have a problem with the stoppge, yeah the ref could have let it continue. Ike had started getting his timing down though, so Byrd would probably have been destroyed the next round or two anyway. Had Byrd been defending the whole time, and focused, I would of had a problem with it. Byrd was being attacked, but still complaining to the ref about something, which shows all the cobwebs weren't out yet.

Premature stoppage ?? ROFL Ike nearly decapitated Byrd.
When he interviewed him after the fight he said Knocked out ?? I wasn't even knocked down . Then they showed him the tape. He changed his mind:good

She never had a mark on her no signs of attempted ****. Ike swore he never touched her, She tried to get more $ from him he refused so she screamed ****
You obviously never saw Ike fight LOL Pepper spray or not those cops would have been hurt
As for the "abduction" the boy was Ike's g/f s son He idolized Ike was always with him. That car crash was deemed to have been a road accident. Tragic for the boy though sadly
Tell me the truth have you ever seen Ike fight or met him at all? I doubt it you just believe what the media say.
I'll bet you believe Mike Tyson ****d Desiree Washington too don't you ? :patsch

Top boxing ****ysts in the 90's, used research ****ytics, to ****yze Ike's potential and they were all in agreement that he would have beat the **** out Rid**** Bowe and obliterated the ****schko brothers. His prison trainer Seymore Cox also stated recently that Ike was the hardest fighter he ever trained.

Really sad story with Ike. He could have been heavyweight champion in the early 2000s. I still would like to see him fight some low level journeyman.

Yet both Bowe and the Klitschkos are HOF bound whilst Ibeabuchi will go as some prison trainers toughest boxer lol.

The potential was there no doubt but there is a massive jump from Byrd and overrated Tua to Bowe, Holyfield, Lewis and the Klitschko's.

Yeah I saw him fight, pepper spray doesn't really care. Reports were that he ****d her and they had 3 other victims. Also he purposely crashed the vehicle permanently disabling the kid he kidnapped.

    He sounds very misunderstood.
