I don't think he is drug free but hell this guy is 49 years old, he wants to make a return I think is a stupid move at 49, he should use his knowledge to teach the sweet science of boxing, guy is super smart
Why do you think he is so intelligent? Also some guys are naturally bulls & get or stay that way without drugs in prison. I dunno if he was or is clean.
https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-ne...exclusive-interview-with-the-president/224745 maybe I'm wrong but he seems to be a perfectionist
Yep he probably could tbh. It's when he starts moving up in quality that the old body will suffer.. Not old really in terms of heavyweight nowadays but the time spent in jail.
Thanks for the link to the recent August 2022 interview. At least as at October 2021 (see article below), though deduced to be free, all things Ike were unknown otherwise, even whether he was still alive or not. Quite obviously he is and looking in pretty good shaper for his age. https://boxing-social.com/features/inside-the-mad-world-of-ike-ibeabuchi/
He seems intelligent, but I have no idea if he is sane. All the damage he caused, violence, that 15 year old kid never recovered, & even more recently he is refusing to sign basic documents, wracking up major infractions like threats & intimidation-OK he is bipolar, but does he have a conscience to feel remorse about all his crimes? As a fighter, I do believe he was The Real Deal. Especially This content is protected unlike Holyfield, he was-& remained-clean. He has big ambitions, but there is a huge disconnect between his seemingly sound intellect & his history. Is he basically sane?
He was lost to time for a bit there. This is exciting because Ike was someone I was really interested in as a teen I wanted to know what happened after and knowledge was limited. As I understood it he was sent back to Nigeria not long ago and then??? I’m joyful to watch this.
Ike’s been all our teen years youtful lust. Like that hot blonde in high school you meet 15 years later and she still looks great.
