    Byrd was a very skilled, defensive, but undersized heavy. His style nightmare is someone that he can't reach to capitalise on the openings that he would otherwise create. A stockier, come forward fighter like Ibeabuchi will always look a little worse than usual against a fighter with great defense. Ultimately though, Ike got a highlight reel KO against a prime Byrd, so what Byrd could manage for four and half rounds doesn't matter.

    With that said, even Vitali wasn't doing great against Byrd, that one has been rewritten in the memory of many Klitschko fans to say that Vitali was dominating so that the torn rotator cuff quit doesn't seem so bad. The truth of it was that the fight was much closer than people seem to give it credit for, the score cards were horribly misleading as to the reality of the fight.

    Ike beat Tua, and didn't even blink when Tua landed his trademark left hook. Lewis wasn't a Klitschko victim. Vitali was the victim. TKO6. Tua was past his best after the Lewis fight. Byrd beating Tua just gives more credit to my first paragraph, that he is a stylistic nightmare for stocky, come forward fighters.

    It doesn't matter how many 'bums' you fight. You are judged by your best wins. If you are unbeaten, and you can beat the best, then you are the best. In Ike's case, he demonstrated that he was world level in his two most important figthts, but he lost the chance to prove anything beyond that by getting put in jail.

    That dude was huge into PED's. They sort of sent him on his road to mental instability. Preexisting levels of crazy mixed with loads of exogenous testosterone are not a good mix. Even if his mental state held up his body would have given him troubles eventually because of his continuous, haphazard steroid abuse.

    He was nothing special from a technical standpoint. Just a PED feuled monster on a roll that would have crashed sooner than later.

    :good My sentiments exactly. If Ibeabuchi gets out of prison anytime soon and returns to boxing, I don't think he would do very well, or maybe not as well as many people think he would.

    Nice to see there are some posters who recognize the GROSSLY overrated Ibeabuchi for exactly what he was - a GREEN, UNPROVEN fighter who faced all of TWO live bodies in his career, one of whom, Tua, he arguably lost to.

    Indeed, based on looking at what they actually DID in this sport, it is CLEAR that the Klitschkos - or virtually ANY decent contender - would beat this overrated fraud.

    He'd probably beat them all on ability but ultimately he would **** up along the way. Can't fix a glass brain. He was never destined for greatness.

    Iam a hugh Klitschko brothers fan but this it the stupid thing ive ever heard. Tua was a murderous puncher in his prime and Byrd for anyone was damm near impossiable to hit. Lewis beat Vitali last time i checked as did Byrd, Rahman was finished by the time he fought Wlad, Barrett is a bum.Tua was is a shell of the monster he once was but if Ike wasnt bat **** crazy he would have been a world champion because he was a powerful puncher but was also a high volume puncher get ur facts straight before you say stupid **** homie

    No, Ibeabushi proved himself against Tua toe to toe, no grabbing and shoulder to shoulder and against the slick Byrd. Ibeabushi would be Champion no doubts about it. This guy had nothing to do with sam Peter and look alikes.

    Ike may have had potential... But we will never know.. It is easy for the Klit haters to sit back and say "He would have beaten both of the Klitschkos on the same night"

    Pickem fight vs either Klitschko, but Vitali might of edged him. Wlad gets outworked and stopped, but most likely would of dropped Ike early in the fight. Ike was a fearless, iron chinned nutcase. He rapes Chisora, Arreola, Adamek, Helenius, and breaks every bone in Hayes body. Only Vitali might of beaten him I think Ike would of and should of been Vitali's main rival had Ike not gotten incarcerated. Both these beasts would of been the face of HW boxing and the saviors head and shoulders above the rest. Trilogy where Vitali might of won 2 outta 3. Ike might of been HUGE in Africa and probably Africa's best since Nelson. Oh well, **** happens.

    That depends on whether or not Ike was taking his steroids. Ike was a roid ****** who went crazy with roid rage and raped a woman. Steroids were found in his car and his apartment by the police.

    But you know that, don't you JAB5239?

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:lol::lol:

    Wow, talk about overrating a mediocre talent that was based purely on steroid abuse.

    You could have done the same as Ike if you were amped up on the juice like he was, to the point of flipping out.
