Vitali got caught twice with Peds. First time in the Olympics which he blamed on his trainers. the 2nd time in the Pros which he also blamed on his trainers. Ironically he didn't change teams until 2002, and kept the same management that supposedly 'fed him' these roids His shoulder injuries and 'torn rotator' bull**** is a common side effect of steroid use. but you KNEW all that didn't you
:rofl:rofl:rofl Unlike roid ****** Ike, though, Vitali didn't flip and start raping and beating women.
Agreed. Ike ****ing lost it, probably due to the fact that he was a crackhead more then the fact he was roiding though
I think he was brain damaged from boxing. He will never get out of prison but he probably belongs in a mental hospital.
the color of this forum sucks, jab i have not found it satisfactory in any other regard either. bscene seems to be down.. it's friday night and i dont have a date. i aint got much other than talking sh#t about the ESPN fighters in the rbr
It's amazing how Vitali has managed to stay so level-headed despite his chronic and systematic PED abuse. It's a real shame his countrymen will not recognise his achievements in PED abuse. Instead, Vitali's people turned on him recently in a riot sparked by their resistance to having a convicted drug cheat run for political office. It really seemed like they wanted to tear him limb-from-limb.
If he had lost to a Klitschko, you'd no longer love him. You'd feel the same about him as you do about Sam Peter. :yep
Love him? Hes one of the most overrated fighters ever! In all reality though, he certainly appeared much more skilled than the crude Peter. Thanks for bumping the thread though 'obessed with me guy'! :yep
Only the two highlighted stand a chance Hamer, Price, Chisora and Helenius get pummeled. Hamer ffs? he isn't even competitve. Perez gets outmuscled and out worked widesh dec Pulev and Fury have a decent shot I reckon
Ike may have had a short career but he proved he was a very good heavyweight with 2 quality wins over Tua and Byrd. The Byrd win was the most impressive for me, it showed he had one punch power and he beat Byrd quicker than Wlad did and Byrd is one of Wlad's best wins. That alone suggests he belonged at the top. I think he would have definitely picked up a title in this era, then again he probably would have picked up a title in his era if he hadn't gone nuts. He would have beaten anyone not named Klitschko. He'd have over powered Povetkin, outworked, walk through and KO'ed Haye, made Arreola cry again, have Fury call him out only to run for the hills and beaten Chisora at his own game. Only thing Ike didn't show us was how he would have dealt with a good super heavyweight, with significant advantages is height, reach and weight. He had the work rate to overwhelm Wlad, more than enough power to KO him, the strength to not be manhandled in the clinches but could he get to Wlad. Wlad's jab and grab would not work against the very strong Ibeabuchi just like it didn't work with Thompson in their first fight, it would be one of the rare occasions when Wlad would have to truly box for the full 3 mins for 12 rounds. He could win but it's a tough one to call. If Wlad does win it would be his toughest victory. Wlad would be favourite, with Ike being untested against a super heavy and Wlad clearly having shown greater mental fortitude. Vitali doesn't rely on the jab and grab style like Wlad as he controls range better and moves better laterally with his awkward style. Ike's power would not have the same effect on Vitali as it would many opponents, Vitali's chin is well proven against Lewis and Sanders. Also Ike would simply be able to outwork Vitali who also has a good work rate. I see Vitali winning a competitive but clear decision.
Ike Ibeabuchi became a fantasy heavyweight champion for the Klitschko haters. When Sam Peter was 20-0, they held him in the same regard as Ibeabuchi, but ended up hating him.
Peter did get massively over rated prior to the Wlad fight. He had literally beaten nobody of note other than a bunch of journeymen and gate keepers. People saw his impressive KO's against low level opposition and were fooled into thinking he could do the same against top level opponents. But Ike was a lot more proven than Peter. His 2 wins over Byrd and Tua are better than anything Peter has done so the comparison is a flawed one.
