Bowe's defence + Ibeabuchi's offence = bad news for Bowe.

And yes I do think that Ibeabuchi is often over rated.

Bowe by UD. Bowe's become very underestimated as time has gone on.

Yeah, only an Elite level fighter like Golota is gonna be able to exploit any flaws he has.

Bowe's best performance was Holyfield I. His conditioning was never as good and never would be again (thanks to Dick Gregory who I just saw this morning walking down the street).

Holyfield outboxed him easily in round 1 but then "got mad" and wanted to knock him out. Bowe was too much that night...his athleticism, size, and level of skill was unmatched by any man of comparable size in my opinion.

Ibeabuchi combined a style similar to Holyfield with the enhanced strength and power of Golota... both of whom were dangerous to Bowe. I think he may have knocked Bowe out.

Holyfield and Golata showed what usually bothered Bowe. A good jab, and some movement. Bowe had a long, strong jab; but it wasn't always straight to the point. Their timing was better with their jabs. They also moved in and out, and threw quick combinations. If Ibeabuchi fought like that, he would bother Bowe.

I never saw him fight that way. I saw him use constant pressure, a lots of activity. He was strong, and had a chance of beating Bowe. He also plays into Bowes hands by wanting to be on the inside all the time. Bowe was at his best on the inside. That is where he wanted to fight> His uppercut would find its mark on Ibeabuchi a lot of the time. In his prime, which was the first two Holyfield fights( I know he was overweight in #2 but he still out threw Evander), Bowe showed he was capable of having a rather high output on offense. Bowe also showed he had an incredible heart against Golata the second time. He kept getting up for more.

I'll give Big Daddy the nod here. Bowe by decision. 7-5 in rounds, but coming off the floor at some point. 114-113 Bowe

Bowe could defeat most boxers, if they are smaller than him. He used the size advantage, he's a Super heavyweight. A smaller boxer will only beat him if they have enough skill to outbox him (Holyfield could have calmed down and possibly done it).

Against fighters that are relatively skilled and bigger than him, Bowe loses.

PS: Why below it says "Last edited by Amsterdam: 02-18-2006 at..."...????? :blood

Bowe, by UD. No way was Ike as good as Golota- he was pretty overhyped to be fair.

Whilst i think Ike is overrated due to obvious reasons i think he might take Bowe out. His ability to take a punch means Bowe is almost definitely not stopping him. By contrast Ike has the superb stamina and big punch to concievably seal the deal in the mid to latter rounds. Ike TKO 9

Ike would have beaten him,Ike had a solid chin, great stamina, and was very aggressive..Who knows If Bowe would have even fought him anyway because he stayed away from really big punchers
