mental weakness already began soon after his signature win over Tua. ike attacked Ezra Sellers and his own trainer because he got cut in sparring. kicking sellers in the knee. This was in the ring. police were called because hewas chasing people into the street. Ike was out of control in camp. Before the byrd fight Ike had already kidnapped his girlfreinds son and went out of control at a lunch meeting with cedrick kushner waving steak knives around wanting to know where his championship belt was even though he had not yet won a title. And thats only half the story. allowances had been made. its just as well he was locked up before he could have disgraced boxing in a title fight.

I'm not arguing the guy wasn't nuts. Sure. But he never demonstrated this in his ring performances. Thus, it is immaterial to the match-up. Riddick Bowe went nuts against Tillery IN THE RING and later kidnapped his wife. Anybody bringing this up in his head to head matches?

The match-up is Ike v Rocky and should be determined but what they accomplished in the ring against who and how they accomplished it.

O/T did Ibeabuchi get ****ed over with his sentencing? I mean from what I can gather he got 20 years for sexually assaulting an escort he booked.

I know Seamus you are the intellectual with your ethnic rantings against Italians, and your negative agenda is obvious. I guess some Italian stole your girl but from your name I guess you suffer the "Irish curse " so I can understand your bitterness and obsession with size.

There are many stories about IKE being crazy and ranting like a lunatic outside the ring and many more of some of his criminal deviant behavior. I said it appears as if he was on Roids but did not matter IMO the 1st time he gets into a ring with a killer he would crack under pressure, it took Holyfield to do it to Tyson but then Williams and McBride, for me it was Evanders heart that brought out the crack in Tyson, funny but the same Holyfeild struggled to stop the 5'8 overweight middleweight Bobby Cyz in the fight before, who would think he would stop the great muscled Tyson.

Sorry if you are levels above all with your self described intellectual prowess ...you are truly a CYBER legend in your own mind

very true, he had cracks that were ready to burst, it was just a matter of how long they could hide it

It's important to note though Holyfield was still struggling with heart issues when he fought Bobby.

OK, when was the positive test?

Again, any standard of intellectual debate requires proof. And nothing beyond accusation and speculation has been provided.

As far as output, Ike averaged 78 punches a round against a 226 pound monster in Tua. I watched 5 rounds of the first Charles fight tonight and Marciano never got to 50... against a frail, down sliding light heavyweight who was on the fast road to a wheelchair.

Proof? The authorities were so keen to protect society from Ike's self explanatory roid raging behaviour that any test was not required. Talk about not putting two and two together to suit an argument!

Never mind avoiding the subject by by pretending Marciano was defending his title against wheelchair bound lightheavyweights, Bryd was a middleweight. Etzzard Charles at age 32 knocked out more rated heavyweights than Ike Ibeabuchi evr did.

Ike accomplished it with steroids. He was so pumped full of them he became too dangerous to be around. Quite possibly nobody could keep him still long enough to test him, sedating him would have interfered with the results and besides it was said there was more evidence against him than you get in 9 out of 10cases for more serious issues that the testing was unimportant.

Disagree. You can't just fire and point fingers but you can't just dig your head in the sand. I'm not going to make a laundry list of athletes that never failed a drug test when in fact using PEDs. That would get boring.

There are only 5 rounds of the fight on film and Marciano throws over 100 punches in the final round. Way to catch yourself in a lie.

I don't think it's a guarantee Ike was on 'em. Do we have any second hand testaments even, a friend of a friend, who said that was the reason for his instability?
