Marciano would probably fight in a somewhat different manner to the way we see him tackling the likes of Moore, Walcott, Charles and old Louis.
He'd move around more, he'd box more.
    He'd need to.

His arms are too short, and his footspeed isn't enough.

    Ike could box too.

Hard to call, would have liked to have seen more of Ike. Absolute war, the extra weight is going to wear Rocky down though.

Marciano was already at his optimal fighting weight in the past.

A 210 lbs rocky would be so slow, Ike would box circles around him.

Ike's extra weight. It is going to sap Rock's energy. I agree putting on more weight would not be a great idea.

"The President" against "The Rock". Billed as the Mt Rushmore fight.

I leaning towards Ike by late TKO in a absolute war...although with Marciano's awkwardness, power, unrelenting attack and heart I could see him surviving and taking a dec.

Ike showed in the Tua fight he didn't mind fighting in close, even tho this favoured Tua more and would with Marciano. However, I think the biggest thing will be Ike's constant jabbing, an old Louis did a fair bit of damage with it a prime Ike I think might be too much.

Ike didn't have the best accuracy and Rock uses his underrated defence to get low under Ike's looping shots and delevier his own brute force combos.
Ike's best win is a useless Chris Byrd and a limited Tua so its hard to judge.
Hard fight for Rock , it could go either way.

Marciano either by late tko or decision. Rocky was more determined, disciplined and fanatical than Tua. In a word, Marciano was a GREAT fighter and simply would not quit or get discouraged at all.

Is this for real? Ike was a ****ing 200 pound monster, he would break Marciano in two.

The thing is here both will sing from the same hymn sheet fighting inside.

Usually the smaller man has the advantage inside as he can get his shots off first and avoid a lot of what comes back. Ike is an adept inside fighter but I had the tua fight a draw.

I dont see any reason to assume tua can take a shot better than Rocky as both have a similar size/reach. I dunno though does an extra 20 stone of weight mean you can take a better punch? Someone who knows more could tell me that and it might change my opinion somewhat.

As it stands though I think I'd surprise myself and take rocky on points.
