You can comprehend the question that is being asked, correct? What are you finding difficult to understand about it?
Yes and I'm relaying the same question but in regards to Tua v Povetkin and Tua's numerous off nights and struggles with fighters who wouldn't be picked as sparring partners for Povetkin. What about this are you finding difficult to understand about it?
You really are dense aren't you. The op started a thread, asked a specific question in his opening statement and asked for fellow boxing critics opinions . I answered the question, taking all facts into consideration and here comes along somone with a clearly biased agenda and goes completely off topic. If certain threads or questions about boxing are difficult to understand or fluster you in any way, maybe you should avoid them altogether. Also, i will not rudely derail a fellow posters thread by swamping it with unrelated tripe that doesn't pertain to the original question. Please start your own thread if you seek answers to your questions. Thank you
I was responding to your comment, in which I agree, that if the Povetkin who fought Huck turned up against either Tua or Ibeabuchi from their respective fight AP would lose. Now all I did was flip the situation, this isn't hard to see. I'll make it easier, if the Tua from the Wooden fight fought the Povetkin from recently or when he beat Chagaev, Tua would be battered. As for Ibeabuchi his career was too short and he only fought 2 guys of substance hence his mythical standing with the fan boys. Again I've not tried to derail anything, in fact it was you who mentioned Tua if that's what you are alluding to, not me. I suggest you stop trying to be clever and patronising, you're on a boxing forum, people talk boxing.
Who said Ike was ever an ATG? And no Povetkin has never 'actually' been a world champion. EVER. He's a fraud and a chump and ive followed and been a fan of his a lot longer than you.
Oh and Maskaev got levelled off Whittaker in 2, Kirk Johnson in 4 and Corey Sanders in 8. Yet it took Tua 11 rounds and even then he was behind by 5 on one card and drawing on another. Maskaev is not a great victory.
Youre right Ike was not an ATG BUT What if that hooker had not derailed his career?? The ONLY HW I'd have picked to beat him in his prime was Lennox Lewis. And Lennox would have to be on top of his game too. Ike would have destroyed the robotic Klitschko's that's for sure. Who's to say he wouldn't have been an ATG had his career not been cut short. At least the words he said when he arrived in the HOC gym rang true " Ive come to Dallas to be God's Champion & I will never be beaten" He wasn't was he
