Don't worry about ruiz, or any of Ike opponents , he's been out if it for nearly 2 DECADES,he's not used to getting hit and you can't train anything close to what's needed in prison, you can run and skill rope 24/7 but that's not training for a professional boxing match.

If you're going to worry, worry about the hookers he'll be hanging with weekly.. his career is over , has been since he ****d some escort.

Ike takes on a hungry and dangerous young gun like Ruiz after a 17yr incarceration but Haye takes on scrub Di Amori after ducking Fury for 3yrs?

If Lyakovick can almost beat Ruiz, Ike can beat him proper.

Hopefully Ike will show that he's capable of controlling himself now. If he does something stupid like going and committing a felony, well, he deserves to go right back to the d@mn slammer.

Too bad Ike signed with the wrong people. Arum is trying to use him as a stepping stone for his own up and coming heavyweight. **** Arum. Ike hasn't fought in years, and he is supposed to be able to just get in 10 round shape? That is laughable. It's really a shame that he doesn't seem to have anybody around him who cares, and has common sense.

It's really a disgusting shame. Arum is a pos. How is Ruiz suppossed to get in 10 round shape that quick. He's a chubby 4 round fighter.

Ike is out of prison, or mental hospital, or wherever he disappeared to?

Mike Tyson didn't do a real good job of it after 3. Like you say, gonna be tough for Ike. It's fun to speculate on his resumed career, but realistically his success is far fetched.

Crazy that Ike is coming back at 42 let alone against a prospect like Ruiz Jr in his first fight. Perhaps he knows he has no chance at a serious comeback and is simply going for a quick payday.

If Ike can still take a punch and still hits hard he could give Ruiz Jr some problems but having been inactive for so long and now in his 40's this is likely just going to be a one sided beat down with Ike folding quickly and walking away with some easy cash.

It's more the rust more than age. Vitali would give Ruiz a serious beat down and he's 44.

I like it, given his age he has to get going quickly.

Stylistically Ruiz would be easy work for a prime Ike. This Ike likely gets ktfo, but if he cant beat ruiz he's only going to be a stepping stone named fighter for up and comers any way. April is a long way away, he could have a couple warm ups before hand.

Ike Ibeabuchi went from being a paranoid schizophrenic to getting two university degrees in prison, and now he'll aim to challenge for a world heavyweight title and apparently mentally he is well.

    Apparently he's in great shape.
