Zouski was tough as nails but not nearly as talented as Ruiz, he was just a journeyman. Not saying Ruiz is anything special he's not, but clearly he was more talent than this guy. There's no telling how good or bad Ike does, but this is definitely a sink or swim type of fight. I think it's safe to say he doesn't win a world title though.

I've seen just about all of Andy Ruiz's fights that there are to see. I don't think he's "talented" at all. He's basically the Mexican version of Joey Dawejko. Ruiz is just rated because of his promoter.

Most of Ruiz's stoppages come from guys who just quit in their corners. He doesn't beat anyone up.

The first "name" he fought (Liakhovich) who didn't "quit" seemed to beat him on points. It was a terrible decision.

If Ibeabuchi has four or five months to train, and he has anything at all left, he wins easily.

Liakhovich had "nothing" left, and he appeared to beat Ruiz.

Ruiz is Steve Zouski. Ruiz is ordinary. Zouski just didn't have anyone around to protect him like Ruiz has. I stand by that.

Let's put it this way, if you had no idea who Andy Ruiz was. If Andy Ruiz didn't have a powerful promoter. If Andy Ruiz wasn't on TV.

And you saw this fight of Andy Ruiz (Ruiz's last TKO win) ... you'd say he (Ruiz) would be a good first opponent for Ibeabuchi because he's so freaking easy to hit and he doesn't have the power to put this other lard down from head shots.

How this Ruiz guy qualifies as a "talent" in some peoples' minds I have no idea.

He's fighting a 40-something year-old guy who hasn't fought in nearly 20 years. If he was any good at all, he should beat him.

But I don't think Ruiz is any good at all. The eyes don't lie.

    Ike by TKO.

He's from the Igbo tribe of Nigeria - same as **** Tiger

They are known for being academically very intelligent. They adaptated well to the British education system introduced to them.

He earned two associates degrees in Prison. He could do something else.

Not a bad idea at all. The division is filled with bums posing as contenders. If he is properly managed at the very least he can win a few bouts, gain a title shot and even if he loses walk away a millionaire.

Hipp broke Morrisson's jaw and fought with a shattered cheekbone before being finally TKO'd.

Cooper and Seldon TKO Hipp just because excessive facial swelling.

Only Puritty stopped him in the 10 th and last rd, near the end of his career.

    Yeah, whatever dude...

Wasn't Ibeauchi waiting to be extradited to Nigeria? Besides I don't get how he's allowed by the NSAC to fight such a massive opponent in his comeback bout? He might actually die in there. I'd think this is the way they could come up with to get rid of him once and for all.

What wrecked your brain ?? Something sure did
Ike beat Tua even David himself said Ike won that fight. If anything affected Ike's brain it was the fact he was kept heavily sedated in jail for 14 months while they tried to build a case against him because they were scared of what he MIGHT do.
Ike's above & beyond paid he debt to society, if he was guilty & I do not think he was. He deserves another chance without a doubt. I just hope & pray he gets proper advice, like Curtis Cokes & Jay Wilson would give him before going head first into a comeback. I wish my old Texas buddy the best of luck
    WAR IKE !!!!!!!!!!!!
