On one hand, you have a guy who beat up future champion Chris Byrd and won a toss-up decision over a "prime" Tua, and on the other hand, you have a guy who blew it against Tony Tubbs' fat brother Nate and future linear HW champion Hasim Rahman, but actually has the big win against Wladimir Klitschko and won a title belt. Who would win this one if both were at their peaks? The ******? Or the Super Southpaw?

Sanders always came out fast had quick hands with a hell of a lot of power but would fade as the fight went on, Ibeabuchi had an excellent chin and power and stamina and would knock Sanders out by round five I believe. Sanders is one of my favourite fighters as he always came to fight, Ibeabuchi would just be too much for him.

It depends on what shape Sanders comes in. If he came in weighing about 220 like he did once he could give Ike problems. Sanders was a lot more mobile and had fast feet. But an out of shape Sanders loses if he can't take him out. Ike's chin has only been tested once but showed its solid.

If Ike brings the chin he had against Tua, good night Sniper.

Although we never saw that much of Ibeabuchi, I think he showed us enough to indicate that he'd beat a guy like Corrie Sanders. His chin, power, conditioning and aggressiveness would prevail over a man who struggled with stamina and durability.. Sanders may have landed some big shots early, but its doubtful that he would have stopped Ike. A decision is pretty much out of the question for either man here..

i have fights by both. It would be a good one. Both would have to come in @ their best. Corrie wasn't always a fat lazy slob either.

Ike by late round stoppage. Sanders would have some success boxing against Ike and then get nailed late.

Ike only fought against 2 names. This could be a real test for him if Sanders is in shape. Sanders goes in out of shape it could be an early nite for him.

Ike did have some problems with boxers, thats why I say maybe Sanders hangs in for a few rounds.

No I meant Sanders could be KO'd. Just because he took Tuas shots doesn't mean he can't be Ko'd. Chris Byrd took them 2. But he was Ko'd by Ike.

Sanders may very well have had the right skills and amount of handspeed to trouble Ike early... My only problem however, is that I really don't think he has too good of a track record of taking a punch, nor being very effective in the late rounds.. Nate Tubbs stopped him in two.. Rahman stopped him in five.. Vitali had to nail him quite a few times before the stoppage, but Corrie was basically just getting beat up in there. Wlad never really had a chance to hit him.

Rahman stopped in 7 by TKO. Sanders was gassed. They had a double knockdown after Sanders dropped Rahman. Supposedly, Sanders was in a bad car wreck and didn't train much for it. Rahman says this was the hardest he was hit.

I know I corrected it once I reread your post. You are absolutely right. Sanders got really sloppy late in fights once he got tired.

Ike feasted on a lot tomato cans as well. It took him 8 rounds to take out Jorge Galvez when it took Sanders just one.
