I agree with all this, but I think there's a good chance Ike stops him. Too much man with too much of an engine.

Yeah I think Uncle Jim is just too passive, I think Ike could put the bull on him and just volume punch him to death - Young isn’t a “great” but he’s a good pro and wouldn’t make a bad account of himself… Ike would win 7-5 8-4 or something? He’d make “The President” look bad but he wouldn’t win.

I mean, that's "possible", but I wouldn't hold my breath if this fight actually happened.

Young was notoriously difficult to stop and knew how to survive if nothing else. He also had a pretty decent chin and could counter and tie up well. Ike wouldn't be able to just bulldoze him, several big hitters tried that on Young on multiple occasions.

I don't think Ike stops Young. James had more of a chin and spoilery guile than Byrd, and Chris himself said if any heavyweight hits him it's a possibility of a game over. Jimmy took on Lyle, Norton, and Foreman, and survived, through granted, Ike had great engine, and both Foreman and Norton rocked Young.
