Hard to say. Both of these guys were dissapointments, although most experts would say Bowe, Holyfield, Mercer, Moorer and others found ways to avoid Rudduck.

Lewis beat an unfocused, undertrained Ruddock who was having problems with his management at the time of the fight. Watching Ruddock neglect his own jab while resting solely on the left hook-uppercut smash against Lewis and Tyson in both fights was painful to watch.

As for Ike Ibeabuchi, this guy could have been the heavyweight saviour in the mid to late 90's, but his own personal problems killed his career. Didn't he serve some jail time too?

Prime for prime, I'd take Ruddock to KO Ibeabuchi somewhere near the middle rounds, 8, 9 or 10. If Ruddock establishes his jab early and boxes Ike, the fight is easier for him. If he waits, focusing on the smash alone, Ike could put him away early.

It just seems to me that Ibeabuchi has more tools overall. He wins by UD or late stoppage.

I would put my money on Ibeabuchi.

I can't see Ruddock winning. Tua has more power than Ruddock and couldn't get Ike out of there and Ruddock doesn't have the chin or defense needed to survive against Ibeabuchi. Ike KO3.

3 is definitely too early, but I agree with your assessment otherwise.

Ike was the goods. Razor had good power, but he was inconsistent.

Ike's chin cancels out Ruddock's power, and Ike's power takes Ruddock out around the 11th-12th.

3 may have been early, Ruddock is tough and can recuperate. But even so I don't see him making it to the last third of the fight.

Ruddock was a one arm fighter. His whole career was touted on two beatings he took from Tyson. Yeah he landed some good shots on Tyson, but Tyson walked right through them and was sliding at that point anyway. Lewis blew him out in one round and his next biggest fight he was stopped by the great Tommy Morrison. Ibeabuchi showed a lot of potential, but we never really saw what he could do. He was supposed to fight Holyfield for the title before he went nuts, its ashame that never came off.. Id pick Ike on overall skills.

I think that Ruddock was ruined by Tyson...his career was cut short in similar way that Tyson ruined Tyrell Biggs.. the fights just took too much out of Ruddock.. Ruddock would have been well served to use the jab... if hehad learned this punch he would have had a better career...his loss to Morrison had a lot to do with rust and inactivity but Morrison won fair and square... i would have to say that this fight is much closer than many think if Ruddock is fighting Ike...prime for Prime... Ike's mental capacity may have taken a hit if he could not get Ruddock hurt in the fight..but he was relentless against Tua...but i think Tua was vastly overrated... he lost so many rounds in his career..

I wouldn't put it past Ruddock to do the same to Ibeabuchi. The man got his nickname because of his "razor" sharp jab. How does Ike have more tools than Ruddock? He's known for his left-hook-uppercut smash, but it's not as if Ruddock's right hand was non-existent.

If Ruddock establishes his jab, he stops Ibeabuchi late or wins a UD. Ruddock foolishly tried to knock Tyson out with one punch instead of using his jab and reach in their second fight. Needless to say he finished the fight with a broken jaw, losing a UD.
