Ok just watched ikes fight vs tua great fight, and he was a murderous puncher, but what do you think were his chances against the great liston ? (sorry if this has been done before did not see it on the first few pages)
Ike wouldn't be able to impose his will and simply unload on Liston like Tua. Listons shotgun jab would bust him up and I expect Liston to KO him late in an entertaining scrap.
Ibeaubuchi looks better on film, but his career was too short to see what he's REALLY made off. When a fighter retires before he being thoroughly tested, you can miss major weaknesses. If you Tyson retired before Douglas or Frazier before Foreman, they would've been seen as invincible, which quite clearly they weren't.
Ibeabuchi has 30lbs of steroid fueled muscle on Liston with similar technical ability and may well bully him because of it. Ibeaubuchi may have been something special he was very technically sound, threw all the punches very crisply, chin of pure granite, strong as an oxx, tight combinations and as Byrd found out he could bang a bit.
Ike reminds me of a bigger and more durable Big Cat Williams, actually. We all saw how much trouble Williams gave Liston in both fights, imagine how Ibeabuchi would of done who is an improved Williams. I pick Liston late but this would be an absolute all out war.
call me old fashioned, but i cant concentrate cos of power punchers avatar..**** those skinny bitches in joe33's, gimme some real woman haha
