Ike couldn't knock Tua down and Barrett did. Just saying...................Ike had a tendency to fight down to the level of his competition. Vitali by UD in a fun one....................
Fight was great i didint say it wouldnt, but Tua was and is a limited fighter with small size and they dont have anything same with Vitali..almost all fighters outbox Tua atleast a while.
Irrelevant!! Grasping at straws, to believe a knockdown in a unrelated fight affects a totally different fight. You non-boxing spectators are a trip with your BS false correlations. :rofl:rofl
Ike choose to fight Tua's fight, and that's what made the fight so close, and so exciting. I have no idea why he choose to take this strategy, but at the time I hoped that Ike would get another trainer better at defining different fight strategies. If Ike had faced Vitali, I doubt that Vitali would have chosen Tua's flat footed, face to face strategy. I think Vitali would have chosen to move like Byrd with Ike cutting off the ring and landing bombs when ever in range. :yep
ike beat tua at 226 lbs and prime.........and barrett fought a 238 lbs past prime fighter....wtf man:---(
we dont know if he was underrated or overrated/ he was gonna fight an undefeated michael grant on hbo....b4 the hoooker business:-(
