Look at both of their resumes. It isn't even compareable. Rodney Jones, Larry Dixon and Victor Lozoya were all older and more experienced than Margarito who was 18 by the time he fought all three. And after that he stepped way up in class against the likes of Kamau, Brantley, Perez, Lewis and others.

Lopez had a huge string of nobodies and when I say nobodies I mean true NOBODIES. Guys with 0-L(s)-0 records.

Ike would stop Margarito. His jab was punishing and he would of destroyed Margaritos face! He was also a very good body puncher and was a very good all around puncher.

    I disagree.

Margarito is only credited for being what he has always proved to be. A tough as nails pressure fighter.

The most overrated fighter of the past 10 years now that you've brought it up is most likely Floyd Mayweather Jr. Not because he isn't great, he is great, but he isn't the greatest fighter of all time like himself and his fans claim him to be.

I don't know who would win between Ike and Margarito.

I would go by Ike on points I say 7 rounds to 5. But let me add one thing Ike get seriously overrated on this site the guy 2 best wins were against Oba Carr and Yory Boy Campas who were both good fighters but gatekeepers in actuality is what they were.

Quartey, either by Wide UD or TKO. His style is all wrong for Margarito, and I mean all wrong. Amazing that Margo is getting picked here.

Personally, I view margo as a Jose Luis Castillo type fighter. Maybe not as overall talented (frankly we just don't know at this point how talented he is). Styles wise, he'll give cotto hell and he'd give mayweather hell too if they ever fought. But style's wise I think ike is a really bad match-up for him. That high guard and world class jab would stimy Margo bad.

JLC is light years beyond Margo. JLC could cut off a ring. JLC could work behind a jab to get inside. JLC at one point was one of the best body puncher's in the game. JLC beat elite fighters. JLC had a much better inside boxing game. JLC was a smarter fighter. About the only comparisons that can be made with JLC and Margo are they are both Mexican and both pressure fighters.

This isn't lasting 12 rounds and Ike isn't dropping 1 round to Margarito. Accumulation beatdown, TKO 8.

You have 3 levels of class difference here, it's a mismatch.

    THEY KNOW NOTHING!:patsch

Amazing that so many people assume that he even lasts 12 rounds here, considering the vicious beating he's going to take.
