Say a few years ago when we had Floyd Mayweather Jr, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, a top prospect in Andre Berto, Paul Williams, Joshua Clottey and Luis Collazo. How would peak Ike fare here? I really like watching him which is unusual as I prefer to watch more versatile fighters with more in there arsenal but I find his fights entertaining. Another poster said in classic said a win over Oscar (which he could have easily gotten) would get him into the hall of fame which is true. Gave Fernando Vargas hell, beat Oba Carr etc

Anyway what do people think of him say 2 years ago in that 147 scene

Favour Floyd over him although Quartey's jab would give him absolute fits.
I'd favour him over most of the others though. Cotto would be 50/50.

Mayweather beats Quartey easy. Pacquiao wins a close decision. Williams wins
Like Cotto Qurtey can beat Mosley but Mosley would come out on top most of the time. Berto and Cotto are pick'em fights.
    Everyone else Quartey beats.

The only one i'd feel comfortable betting on against him would be Mayweather. His gameness could well undo Cotto, that would be a very good fight i think, as a spectacle. I reckon Quartey would ram that jaB home so easily against Williams, again that would be entertaining as hell though because of how game both men are. Pacquiao is very though for me to call.

Floyd would win almost certainly . Pac fight close decision probably to Pac. Cotto is close but i think he may loose with a fairly clear ud.

All of them except Floyd, Manny, and maybe Mosley. I don't like Ike's chances against even a slightly older Shane, he's still super durable and would outfight Quartey in enough rounds to get the job done. Nazim could find him a way around that jab.
