About time Quartey has decided to come back,I wonder if he is going to fight at 147 because before he dissapeared that was his plan to go back to 147.

Ike is a small 154lbs, he can totally make 147. Ike vs Cotto would be great.

I like Ike Quartey a lot. He is very underated and got shafted on some decisions. Mainly bc he simply just have no following or name but the guy got great talent.

I would like to see Quartey succeed, but I think his time has passed. We'll see though.

I really hate that he got robbed in that fight against Forrest.

I always liked Ike excellent jab was always on the underrated side, but age and inactivity may have caught up to him. I don't see him doing anything big in a potential comeback

I heard he was doing alot of good things in his homeland of Ghana, such as opening schools, building hospitals. So overall I think he is well off financially.

I've heard the same thing, that he was doing a lot of charity work in Ghana. Maybe that's why he has had these long spells of inactivity in between fights. I always felt that being more active would have benefitted his career more.

Heck of a fighter, though. GREAT jab.
