Alot of people here are judging Clottey on the Pacquaio fight. (Alot of ESB posters hop from bandwaggon to bangwaggon, Clottey was a force after his Miguel Cotto fight, but now he's poor? Idiots
Clottey isn't poor, but Quartey would kill him. Ike operated and performed at a much higher level throughout his career. :rasta
I don't think Clottey is a bum or something, he's a good fighter but Quartey was just on another level.
BTW let me ask you this, How do you see Clottey do against a prime DLH or Jose Luis Lopez? How about Forrest at 154? Personally I don't he makes it to the finish line to be honest.
I'd guess buddy, that a prime DLH; UD's him comftorbly. Oscar when up on his toes had wonderful footwork and superb punching fluidity, a solid chin too. Clottey would put his shell up and plod forward, Oscar would circle, pump the jab and flurry to a wide points decision. (Clottey has a solid defence, and a granite chin, I don't see anyone KO'ing him.) I don't know anything about Lopez to tell you the truth, so I won't give you an answer full of bull :good Vernon Forrest keeps him on the end of his jab all night and wins a stinker of a fight by UD. Assuming he stays disciplined and doesn't fight like he did with Mayorga, where he'd be in real danger of losing IMO. If he stays behind his craft then he has nothing to worry about. 154lbs would probably favour Vernon more than JC, who loses alot of his physical advantages once he leaves 147lbs.
