Cotto vs Ike i could see going both ways..... I could see Cotto outboxing Ike and dissecting him, or i could see Ikes jab really disrupting Cottos rythem and also, Ike is not slow or light handed.... it would def be a good scrap, not sure..... Ill lean slightly towards cotto as he doesnt know how to lose yet.

Ike vs Margarito... another tough one actually imo... although this one im leaning towards ike, i think he wins early while margarito comes on strong late... close decision eather way imo

I think Quartey's power and defense would give Cotto some trouble. He wouldn't be as determined to get inside if he ended up getting dropped early. I'd pick Quartey either in a UD or early stoppage.

Margarito would probably show no respect for Quartey's power and he'd bang on Quartey all night until that stamina issue shows up. A bit better than the Clottey fight but probably a similar result. Quartey might knock him down but I don't think he'd have the stamina to knock Margarito out. You simply cannot discourage him from one or two hard shots.

Ike-Cotto would be a good close match I think, could go either way

Ike-Margo I'd take Ike by UD

Even a prime Vargas at 154 and a Welter DLH could't put him away, so I don't see either fighter koing him, or at least not until the later rds.

I could see a prime quartey grinding out a tough decision against Cotto with that stiff jab of his. I think Cottos speed would create some problems, but Ike's activity and left hand would bail him out. I think it would be Margarito who would grind out a decsion against Ike by eating a lot of clean punches, but taking over in the middle to late round once Ike gassses out.

ive never understood why in fantasy matchups... they pick one winner to win over another very good fighter in a fashion that they havnt won before, against a top tier fighter.

    example

Your picking Cotto to stop Ike Quartey faster then hes stopped

Judah - Huh? ike is waaaay stronger and more durable then judah, and will be putting jabs and offence up which will have cotto more defensive and less punishing output then how judah shelled up

    Torres

    Bailey

    ect....

Ike is a quality quality fighter, in his prime.... and even the one that fought forrest, no way in hell cotto stops him in 5

and sorry im not meaning to pick on your post its just i see this a lot. Theres a fantasy matchup between two quality fighters... and the winner is picked to win in a fashion that he never really wins in against top tier opposition.
