Judah was at his best at 140. Ike is too strong.

It’s possible. I feel like Quartey is strangely somewhat overrated in this forum. Judah was much faster of hand and foot, and offensively more well-rounded. But Ike would be the favorite.

does quarteys educated jab do the trick? can Judah keep it together long enough to win? .. he's not getting quartey out of there early so it's going 12 unless quartey gets to zab .. I dunno it's a pickum fight with how great Judah could look when on and just simply bad when off .. it'll all depend on Judah really

Quartey stops hi. Zudah with fold under the constant pressure from that bazooka jab

Zab "mental midget" Judah doesn't tire physically, but he does mentally. Ike wins as a result.

    Good match up.

Zab has great physical assets as stated, but Ike would slowly chop and grind him down with the jab.

Zab always has his moments though, especially early where he would be in the lead.

    Ike decision.

Fun matchup. I gotta go with Quartey's jab all the way.

If Clottey could do it, so could Ike.

Zab Judah didn't have the mental focus/toughness to stay in a fight at the elite level. He did have all the physical ability but even as he got more mature he still couldn't put it together for a full fight.
I don't think Quartey was that great. He was strong, heavyhanded and he could pop that jab for 12 rounds. I don't think Zab has the taste for that kind of combat. Oba Carr gave Ike a good challenge, coming on in the 2nd half of the fight. The difference being that Carr had more heart. He was a tougher competitor even if he didn't have Judah's great quickness.

Zab's win over Spinks is probably better than any win Quartey has at 147.
