    Both in peak form.

    Winner?

I've actually thought about making a thread on this matchup.

Ultimately I'd have to go with Curry's more well-rounded skills, but it'd be a hell of a technical battle.

Gotta go with Curry too. At his best he was a beautiful fighter to watch.

I made this thread last week.

Anyway, Curry by UD. Donald had more dimensions than Ike, more skills, faster, and more firepower. Probably better stamina as well.

Curry by UD, or possible late TKO.

The Cobra is far more skilled that is for sure. But Quartey is far more durable. Quartey could take whatever Curry dishes out and make a charge in the late rounds. Curry doen't take punishment well. if Quartey takes Curry into the late rounds, he would have the chance to steal victory out of the hands of sure defeat. Curry is talented enough to have a big lead going into the late rounds. If he can stay on his feet, Curry should get the decision. If he were to go down then a decision would be very close.

Quartey didn't have great stamina, he often faded down the stretch. I don't see that as his chance in this fight at all.

Quartey's only chance would be a war of attrition in the late rounds. Curry is much too skilled & fast for Quartey in the early going. If Quartey were to attack Curry early he would leave himself open. & Curry would take full advantage.

Quartey couldn't dance on the big stage.
