At 147 prime for prime, who takes it?

I think that the key here for Quartey is he's ''BAZOOKA JAB'' he had one of the best jabs in the game not to mention he's bigger stronger had a very good Boxing skills great left hook and right hand i pick em to win by UD.:bbb

Floyd Mayweather would not have entered a ring Vs. Quartay, Had Ike been in his prime during Lil' Floyds run in WW. (But for ****'s & Giggles)

Ike by SD. Too much BAZOOKA, IMO.

That great jab gives Floyd some problems, but Floyd doesn't rely on coming in. Mayweather would counter off the jab enough to get a UD win in the 8-4, 9-3 range.

Ike was not smart enough and he really had nothing to follow up with his jab. He had shotty ass defense and he got tired a lot in fights. It will be a good even fight early but Floyd would figure him out and take the later rounds.

Possibly Ike. That jab would've given little Floyd problems, but I wouldn't be too confident in picking either one. Either way it goes to the cards.

Great match up. Ike would give PBF problems in the begininng with that great jab but PBF would adjust and outbox him the rest of the way

Ike's jab would give him problems in spots but like the posters above mentioned, I dont think he had enough ring intelligence to beat floyd.

Ike is similar to Winky in terms that they both have terrific jabs, but they were sort one trick pony's. They had no ability to adjust throughout a fight if their gameplan wasn't working. Good fight earlier, but begins to look like the last 5 RDS of the Floyd-Oscar fight.

    Floyd UD 8-4

i think a better statement would be prime floyd has a good chance, as he would be the underdog. of course, whether floyd even takes this match is a better question.

to answer the question to this thread, an old, inactive oscar with one foot out the door, gave a prime floyd all he could handle and in the eyes of alot of observers he won the match.

a big part of dlh's success was that jab, and quartey has no doubt one of the best ever at welter. IMO, ike wins something like 9-3 or gets a late ko.

With PBF's quickness, he would counter off his jab. Oscar did very well, but that was at 154 were PBF never fought before. At 147 he would be quicker and confused Ike with his own jab to the body and face.

Where do you guys get the idea that PBF is some great 147 fighter ? Show me ?

    Ike by decision all day.

130/135 and at a push 140 are the fantasy matchups for Floyd, not 147 ffs.
