i see a close fight with quartey, quartey was never one to take lightly of. They guy was as tough as hell, but floyds ringsmarts, and ability to adapt situations in the ring will win him a close decision.

I would pick Ike at his prime, but the Ike after his prime would lose by decision.

Floyd would beat Ike. Ike was overrated. Just the kind of guy Floyd beats and says is an ATG.

How the **** can anyone see Floyd beating Quartey???? Floyd doesn't fight fighters in their prime, so if we're talking WW Floyd vs. Prime Quarter, Floyd would lose.

What's so funny? Floyd never faced a genuine 147 lber, especially not one that fought (and IMO beat) prime De La Hoya.

Quarter would be too strong for Floyd, who wouldn't even fight CLottey forchrissakes.

I'm not disputing Floyd's talent, but at Welter he's out of his depth and most ATG 147lbers (which Quartey is not, bear with me) would best him at the weight.

However, Quarter would be relentless against Floyd because he could, May's shots would bounce right off him and Quartey would win a close decision.

This is a thread about Floyd at Welterweight....if he fought a genuine Elite 147 lb fighter he would lose, simple as that. His best wins are against someone who wasn't the best in the divisiona t the time or someone who was hampered by outside interference (i.e weight drainage, too small etc etc)

Floyd never faced the top guy yet he is supposed to be the top guy? **** that.
