I feel Gavilan proved himself v Basilio and Robinson who were both rated among the top 50 fighters of the last 50 years in 1996 by the ring magazine, Ike was never in at thatt level, Basilio would have landed far more on Ike than he did v the much more savvy Gavilan.
I this epic fantasy match, I like Gavalin. Granted he's a personal favourite of mine and love his fighting style but like Mark said he's more proven against better opposition.
