No doubt that Lloyd Honeyghan was a very determined hungry fighter on the ight of Sept 27 1986, when he stopped champion Donald Curry by TKO 6. But he went on to struggle in later title defenses, especially against the likes of Maurice Blocker and Jorge Vaca in 1987. He lost his title to Marlon Starling on Feb 4 1989, by TKO 9. Vernon Forrest defeated Sugar Shane Mosely in 2002 but lost his title to Ricardo Mayorga by TKO 3. It appears that Forrest was the stronger of the two, but the Honeyghan of the Curry fight was more of an aggressive counterpuncher as demonstrated that night. The fight goes the distance with Lloyd winning a majority decision.
I think you've posted this in the wrong thread, mate. This one is Honeyghan vs Quartey, not Forrest. The other thread is Forrest.
If Lloyd moved & boxed (he was capable of this but often neglected to do so, in favour of the Ragamuffin gung-ho approach he preferred) he could win this, otherwise, I think Ike would be too strong for Lloyd.
This is a tough fight to pic but I kinda like Ike Quartey. While Honeyghan was powerful, Ike was durable and had a pretty good punch himself.
