Cotto isn't going to stop or outpoint Ike. That's prime for prime - and I'd actually say the same thing applies now, barring a robbery.
Ike was too strong and had very good defense in his prime to go along with that laser-like jab. Ike would do to Cotto what he did to poor Vince Phillips.
Quartey by late TKO or UD Cotto doesn't have the jab to outbox Ike, nor the physical strength to impose his will/win by technically pressuring him. I see Ike getting the better of Cotto at a distance, outjabbing him, and landing some big shots to keep him honest and somewhat tentative. Cotto would have his moments and would remain competitive, but would be getting outboxed for the majority of the fight.
