Duran. He's too smart for Quartey. It would be similar to Duran beating Trinidad, only easier for Duran. Duran by late rounds stoppage.

Duran UD, or late stoppage. As Saad54 says, Duran far too smart for the very predictable Quartey. Ike has one of the hardest jabs in Welterweight history. But, there was no subtlety to it. Once Duran realized it was just going to be shooting constantly, he would start to slip it and counter. Ike was strong, but he was dropped by De La Hoya, Lopez, and even Oba Carr (who outboxed Ike for quite a bit of their fight). I still expect the bout to go the distance, but after 3 or 4 rounds it would be almost all Duran.

You can't beat Duran with the lack of hand speed and head movement of Ike Quartey, and I really like watching Quartey. Once Duran made Ike's jab irrelevant, it would get increasingly one-sided.

    Exactly.

He'd take away the jab & what's left? And even though a real good jab, nobody had problems countering it. He was right in front of opponents and left open a big window for counters.

Ike would be in trouble more and more as the bout went on and it would be a clinic in the late rounds.
