Who wins in the light middleweight division?
The quartey that lost a decision to Vargas vs the Norris that smoked Mugabi in one round.
Norris would probably outbox him to a decision, imo. Quartey had a pretty solid chin, his main problem imo was workrate and stamina issues late in the fight. Quartey would have his shot to stop him though he had decent power and a helluva jab.

Norris out works him and dominates at times but Quartey gets him late. KO 11.

Quartey was overrated. Norris was not. Norris had a weak chin but he was too good and quick for Quartey. I think if he can withstand some punches he wins an easy decision.

Norris was the king of beating overrated and/or oversized Welters. A true ***** of a fighter if ever there was one. ****** ass.

that's the resentment I was talking about earlier. This is due to the way he handled Sugar Ray leonard and exposed all his shortcomings (it was the speed)

Yes, Leonard was a very good fighter and champion, even an outstanding one. But next to Norris he was nothing

Norris by tko Quartey. This is a typical no sweat win for Terry

    I'll go with Ike.

Terry isn't much bigger. Ike fought some huge guys in Forrest, Wright, De la Hoya and huge punchers in Vargas and Lopez. I don't see any reason to think Ike couldn't handle Terry's speed, size, or power, or that Ike couldn't put Terry down a few times with jabs.

Pretty much Rooster. Sweet Pea is just mad that his boy Pernell wanted no parts of Terrible Terry even though Terry was willing to go to 147 to fight him. When Pea did make his way to 154 he chose to fight the massively overrated, no skill having Julio Cesar Vasquez, he knew Terry speed, accuracy and all around skill was too much for him.

If Simon Brown can catch up to Norris, I would give Quartey a good chance of nailing him. If Ike hit Norris he could hurt him. Norris was the better overall boxer and would probably win a decision, but it wouldnt be as easy as some think, Quartey would have chances.
